Earring Trees

I began creating these copper creations first as a way of displaying my own earrings so I could see them easily every day. Soon I was bending some interesting shapes and wrapping colorful wire to create delightful pieces of art. The shapes inspired me to create sunflowers blooming with crocheted leaves. Then a butterfly took shape. With a gentle spot light from overhead the wire even sparkles. Wire of varying color and gauge are woven around copper tubing to make the sculptures. Some pieces are crocheted. Some are functional beautiful shapes. Try hanging your favorite earrings or a special glass ornament from these copper pieces for a beautiful display in your house.
